One of San Francisco’s last remaining Gold Rush buildings (1853), the SFHS Museum is the site of the first mint in the West: a one-of-a-kind venue guests will remember forever. Conveniently located in San Francisco’s Financial District, the SFHS Museum offers elegant spaces for events of all types, for 25 to 250 people. This historical landmark is also a museum featuring stunning exhibits about San Francisco’s history in five galleries easily adapted as event spaces. The Museum is perfect for presentations, cocktail parties, weddings, and conferences.

This venue offers the option of professional live streaming, broadcast to an online audience of unlimited participants. Clients receive an edited video of their event.

Spaces:

The Gold Room Featuring 2 Side Galleries (Main Floor): The main floor with its 16-foot ceilings & decorative columns is an elegant setting for presentations or social events. The Gold Room is equipped with an 11’ x 6’ screen, a projector, and sound system. Capacity: Standing: 200. Seated: 100)

The Vault & Little Theatre (Lower Floor): Two galleries on the lower level offer a view of the original brick vault where gold was once stored. The Little Theater may be used as a screening room or general event space. Capacity: Standing: 50. Seated: 25

The Viewing Deck (Third Floor): This elegant outdoor balcony offers fresh air and rare views of the Financial District. This space is suitable for a cocktail party. Capacity: Standing: 48

The Lower Floor Galleries & the Viewing Deck may be used as Private Spaces
